Unfortunately, due to unforseen circumstances (discovery of asbestos + foundation issues), the timing and scope of our project will likely change, so we have not hired him for the job initially described, but this was certainly not his fault! He took the time to review the structural engineer's report, and encouraged us to get a detailed plan from the engineer before moving forward with any work. Refresh and Build recently completed renovations to my Hayes Valley (San Francisco) condo including a complete bathroom remodel, new floors throughout, new light fixtures, and a several other modifications. I selected R & B because of excellent online reviews and a reasonable initial estimate. In fact, R & B’s bid was about ½ of the other bid I received—for the same job! From the moment I first met him, he was kind enough to take off his shoes, very kind in explaining the process, asking how much I wanted to be involved in the design or have him take the lead (I let him lead).
